Many people fail to realise the importance of Business Continuity when attempting to establish their brand online. It’s not just a simple case of knocking out a cheap website, some business cards a homemade shop front and some generic emails banners and flyers. Everything about your business needs to say what it is. It needs to follow a strick house style that is readable and recogniseable immeditaly. If your website is not similar to the business cards and plans that it is printed on then it’s essentially useless and confusing. It just won’t look professional.
You need to think of your business as a full package. From start to finish. It is a product and should sufficiently represent that and nothing else. This is why major companies like Apple and Microsoft and even Coca Cola are so big. Brand recognition. They stick out like a sour thumb and you instantly know everything that they are about. Outline your ethos and stick with it.
